Doris Gaskins-Hamilton is a licensed and ordained minister, teacher, and preacher of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. With a passion for empowering others through faith, education, and mentorship, she has dedicated her life to ministry and personal development.

She spent 28 years at Blue Cross and Blue Shield, serving as Director of Claims Operations and Project Manager. She holds the distinction of being the first African American supervisor and first African American manager in the company’s history—a testament to her leadership and perseverance.

In 1997, she founded Greater Faith Community Baptist Church, where she served as pastor until 2007. She earned her undergraduate degree from what is now the University of Notre Dame in Baltimore, Maryland, followed by a Master of Arts in Church Ministries from St. Mary’s University and the Ecumenical Institute in Baltimore. She is currently pursuing a Doctorate at Palmer Seminary.

A certified Life Coach (Discovery Life Coaching), Doris is also a prolific author of three books:

Lessons from the Wilderness – An insightful reflection on life’s unexpected challenges.

It’s Never Too Late – A motivational call to pursue and achieve one’s best life.

Wisdom From A Well Woman – An invitation for women to engage in transformative conversations through the biblical story of the woman at the well.

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, she launched Monday Night Live (MNL), a virtual Bible study that connected women across the U.S. and as far as Mexico.

Inspired by the group’s experiences, the women contributed to a book titled MNL, sharing how the study helped them navigate the challenges of the pandemic.

Doris is the CEO of Well Women Ministries, a ministry dedicated to the holistic empowerment of women through preaching, teaching, workshops, conferences, coaching, writing, and mentoring. She continues to inspire and uplift individuals through her dynamic leadership and unwavering faith.
